Goals and objectives of the club program The goal of this program is to develop students′ abilities to use a foreign language as a tool for communication in the dialogue of cultures and civilizations of the modern world. This program of the English language club "Literary Club" also has the following developmental and educational goals: • Development of socio-cultural competence. • Fostering the ability for personal and professional self-determination. • Development of intercultural competence. • Development of the ability to achieve a set goal, overcoming obstacles if necessary. • Fostering the ability for personal and professional self-determination.
